| The law education in Republic of China was an important tache in the Chinese legal system modernize procession. In this special phase, new law education inherited established civilization from Chinese feudalistic society, meanwhile, learned modern law system from all over the world. Focusing our attention on curriculum setting in legal education field, curriculum schedules showed integer complexion in that period and fulfilled the teaching targets.In the front three parts, this paper introduced tremendous affairs in law education field from 1901 to 1949, such as law school's evolution from appearance to ruin, government orders' changeability, different curriculum sort in law department and etc.Chapter 4 introduced curriculum setting in council school, especially discussed the peculiar curriculum settings in Peking University and in some council schools all over the country. ChapteF 5 included curriculum settings in private universities, and divides them into two parts. One part is private school originated by Chinese, and the other part is mission school built up by church, which is famous for 'The Comparative Law School of China'. In this pad, 1 collected lots of historical materials and grand old men' dissertation, in order to make virtual appraisement.We can see that the law education in Republic of China inherited Chinese tradition civilization, and it turned on jurisprudence of modern times. Readers can conclude their own opinion from historical materials in this paper.Chapter 6 summed up the curriculum setting in law education field, and then told enlightenment for nowadays.Firstly, I reviewed the whole course of law education in Republic of China. Secondly, I bring forward my own opinion and conclusion about that period's law education. Finally, I compared the law educations in different phases, and told my reference aimed to make standard evaluation. |
