Strengthen Ideological And Political Work Of Trade Unions Under The Socialist Market Economy

As a bridge or a tie between the workers and our party, the trade union of our country is bearing the important duty of doing the ideological and political work. It is the inherent political nature, the distinct class nature and the masses nature that have determined our trade union should do a good job on worker's ideology and politics.It is a political inevitable demand for our trade union to strengthen the work of ideology and politics so as to cultivate the worker's regime consciousness.By strengthening the ideological and political work, to cultivate the workers'equal and democratic consciousness, is also an inevitable demand that determined by its masses nature. As for its class nature, our trade union also should cultivate the workers'united consciousness.《The Trade Union Law of The People's Republic of China》has made it clear that our trade union should do the ideological and political work .Now, our country has been in a period of social changing. It affects many aspects, such as economic regulation, governmental function, enterprise management and the workers'status, and so on. The ideological and political work faces numerous complicated new questions, and unprecedented changeable new situation.First, because the objective environment has changed, the ideological and political work is getting more difficult.From planned economy to socialist market economy,the enterprise's ownership, leading ,management, work and the distribution system have undergone a great reform. And it also has brought a great adjustment of the new or old problems, as well as the interests pattern. All these have greatly affected the concept of the workers. The diversification of the media, and the pluralism of information have brought the opportunity and challenge to ideological and political work of our trade union. The improvement of our workers'cultural dynamics has put forward to a higher demand for the ideological and political work. Second, the workers'thoughts have changed under the socialist market economy condition. Such as the loss of proud master's sense, the unfairness sense aroused by Income gap, the transition of paying more attention to profit than justice, the transition from passive adaptability to active participation. Meanwhile, we still have many advantages being gifted to rely on, these are the solid masses, the function , the organization, the bases and the material that we have.
