With the development of socialist market economy and politic reforming, the relationship among nation, market and society has been profoundly changed, which presents opportunities and challenges to Non-profit organizations in China. On the one hand, Non-profit Organization plays an increasingly important role in social life, and on the other hand, it often lacks of the honesty-trust. Thus, it is significant theoretically and practically to reinforce the development of the honesty-trust of Non-profit Organization which can promote its health development and construct a harmonious society.Based on the theories of the honesty-trust, this paper, taking comparative and literature study, states three levels of Non-profit Organizations and the basic requirements of the development of the honesty-trust. The author argues that at present there are three factors that cause the honesty-trust of Non-profit Organizations to lack: the morals of Non-profit Organization, internal systems of countermeasures and external supervising systems. Correspondently, there are three aspects of the countermeasures to solve the lack of honesty-trust of Non-profit Organizations. Firstly, moral development should be reinforced to make Non-profit Organizations self-disciplined through strengthening the morals of working staff and organization. Secondly, such internal system of countermeasures as internal institution, financial system, self-evaluating system and encouraging system are reinforced to supervise and encourage Non-profit Organization and its members effectively. Thirdly, such external supervising systems as government-supervising system, external evaluating system, responsibility system, citizen participating system and information opening system are improved to supervise Non-profit Organization effectively. It is concluded that the degree of trust from the public can be increased and the honest-trust development of Non-profit Organization can be achieved through reinforcing moral development and improving internal countermeasures and external supervising system. |
