Corpus Of Modern Chinese Legal Vocabulary Measurement Study

Forensic Linguists, as a new developing discipline, just more than 20 years in time when our country rises and developing, basic theories and research approach are all also at the stage of exploring. Chinese Forensic Linguists pay attention to research of written language, use traditional method word, word, sentence in Forensic Linguists,etc. of linguistics carry on research mainly. Compared with foreign Forensic Linguists, the research contents seem narrower, the research approach is more outmoded too. It can influenced that Chinese Forensic Linguists has accepted the foreign Forensic Linguists gradually recently, all expand to some extent on basic theories and research approach.Set up legal corpus base and measure research to its vocabulary, aim at investigating to the reality of the legal language of our country, regard advancing the research of law linguistics as the legal practice to serve. It is mainly a corpus base of the legal written language to set up legal corpus base at first, and mark automatic participle of the machine and morphological feature to it. All word carry on frequency of the word count legal corpus base secondly, divide according to five frequentness law grade. Draw 83 high-frequency words , 819 second-class high-frequency word, 1301 intermediate frequency words, it is 2203 altogether, regard it as the basic vocabulary of the legal register. Moreover, divide the basic vocabulary of the legal register into three kinds, including legal term , the basic term of law and daily ordinary vocabulary of legal register, draw out the legal vocabulary in the basic vocabulary of the legal register. Draw out the habitual expression formula in the legal register according to the research results of the vocabulary finally.This research insists on artificial and the machine, determine the nature and quantitative research approach, its research results not only reflect that in the text, but also shown as all kinds of word forms and legal corpus base itself. The measurement research of the legal register vocabulary, can offer the reference basis for legal copy clerk's writing, legal English teaching , etc..
