The National Assembly of China had played an important political role in the War of Resistance against Japan in China. The assemblymen from the Communist Party of China had made full use of the legal platform, publicizing to home and abroad the principles, guidelines and policies of the CPC on the War of Resistance against Japan. In the Assembly, the middle including the assemblymen from the democratic parties and without party affiliation were united to combat resolutely against the adverse current of accommodationists and capitulationists, which made major contribution to maintain and develop the united front. This paper is consisted of six parts. In the first part, introduced are the founding background and the structural functions of the National Assembly of China; In the second part, elaborated are the struggle of the CPC assemblymen against the accommodation and capitulation activities of the Japanophile led by Wang Jingwei; in the third part, addressed is the struggle of the CPC assemblymen against the splitting activities of the stubborn clique in the Kuomintang; in the fourth part, discussed are all the efforts made by the CPC assemblymen and the assemblymen from the democratic parties and without party affiliation for realizing the political democratization in China; in the fifth part, given is the positive work contributed by the CPC assemblymen in the National Assembly of China for the belief that "it is absolutely a victory of the War of Resistance against Japan and it is absolutely a success of founding a new China"; in the sixth part, concluded are the historical significance and realistic revelation of the efforts and struggle of the CPC assemblymen in the National Assembly of China.
