As the tariff barrier of every country all over the world is generally reduced in these days, anti-dumping is becoming used more and more widely as an effective way. China is accused more and more often, especially by EU.The introduction of the thesis gives a general idea of the origin of dumping and anti-dumping. It also explains the harm dumping will do to international trade, and concluded that the clash between dumping and anti-dumping will not stop as long as international trade exists. The main body of this thesis includes six chapters. The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the EU anti-dumping law andsummarizes every modification of the current anti-dumping law(No.384/96) and points out that the EU anti-dumping law is in the frame of WTO anti-dumping rule. However, there are some differences between them, and the differences are discussed in the second part of Chapter One.The second chapter begins with the data and reaches the conclusion that no matter the total amount of EU anti-dumping cases increases or decreases, the case number towards China is climbing. The characteristics of EU anti-dumping towards China are also included in this part. The third chapter analyses the discrimination of EU anti-dumping policy towards China. It begins with the focused issue of Market Economy Status, and concluded from the legislation, practice and some data that China is a market economy country now. In addition, the rules for choosing the appropriate market-economy third country, the problem of price undertaking and some other procedures are not quite fair. The fourth chapter talks about the reason why EU always accuses China of anti-dumping. At first, the objective causes are explained including the international trend and the economic situation of EU. Then it is stated that the subjective reasons are more important. The reasons are discussed from government to individualenterprises, from macro reasons to micro reasons. The fifth chapter predicts the future of EU anti-dumping towards China. Owing to some reasons of the world, China and EU, it will reach a new peak in the coming few years. The last chapter gives some advice to the government, industry unions and enterprises.
