| Yangtze River, ranking first in our country rivers, plays a great important role in the development of the national economy. As the development of the area near the two sides of Yangtze River, the transportation network becomes more and more perfect, and the amount of transportation increases year by year. Recently, the container multi-modal transports in Yangtze River Area have increased greatly, too.However, the container multi-modal transports in Yangtze River Area are on the start now, and a lot of problems are to be solved. In general, these problems contained the followings: the management systenru policy and laws and transport network etc, among which the difficulties of information transfer and documents communication are very vital. The Yangtze River Container Multi-modal Transport EDI Communication System Projects came into being for the problem.
