China Container Inter-modal System, Coordination, Analysis And Research

Container transport is the result of transport modernization and is the key part of logistics modernization. Especially, at present, container and multimodal transport has been becoming the leading transport style of international logistics activity, whose function and benefit will be developed in deeper extent. Though container and multimodal transport has been studied for many years, there are so many problems to be waited for resolving. Container and multimodal system includes not only the software aspect, but also the hardware aspect. Therefore, to behave this system more effectively, it should be studied from the direction of system harmony.The paper has four chapters:The first part mainly states the present condition of container and multimodal transport, the transport forms and delivery forms of cargo containerization.The second part discusses China's container and multimodal transport system, including the features and key transport modes of this system, etc.The third chapter is the core part of the whole paper, including eight sections. In this chapter, it discusses the concept of coordination of container and multimodal transport system, the layout coordination, structure coordination, technology coordination, information coordination .organization coordination, capacity coordination and development coordination.On the point of systematic and holistic view, it is analyzed the current situation and the existent problems of container multimodal transport system.The fuzzy clustering analysis method is used to analyze the layout coordination. And the result is contrasted with the actual condition. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of the application of EDI technology.The fourth chapter discusses the coordination between container multimodal transport system and outer condition, including two sections. It concerns the impacts of the software condition and hardware condition of outer condition on the system, emphasizing the combination of multimodal transport and logistics. The level of economic development is the basic of the development of container multimodal transport system. The law and rule of container multimodal transport ensures the equitable competition in market.
