The 21st century is such an era in which the economy is embodied by intellince, information and digit, and the competition on intellectual and technological innovation is playing more and more important role in the new economic environment. As an important role in the economic grows, the traditional materialized capital has been gradually replaced by the capital on human resources, which focuses on knowledge and skills. It has turned out that the competition between enterprises is like a game of contesting human resources. That is, initiatives on knowledge and skills will be the game rule of the competition. The operation system on human resources in enterprises, the investment and training on human resources is becoming a hot issue about which enterprises are concerned in the process of their development. According to the analysis on the dependent relation between human resources and the competitiveness of enterprises, the main topic of the thesis is educed: how to upgrade the level of the human resources of enterprises. After the theoretical analysis, the effective training system and procedures in modern enterprises is used for reference to make judgment on the human resources training and development system of X Group Corporation and to put forward measures on the existing problems and the system optimization. Meanwhile, common problems existing on the current human resources system in domestic enterprises are discussed and the relevant solution to the human resources training and development of enterprises is given for reference. Sichuan X Group Corporation has developed itself into a large-sized private-owned enterprise, which is engaged in pluralistic businesses since the opening-up and reforming policy. But the current human resources training and development is not so sufficient as a powerful support for the rapid development strategy of the corporation. That is to say, it is hard to meet the needs of a large quantity of excellent managerial and technological talents required by the business operation and growing businesses of the enterprise. Based on my analysis of the current situation and the existing problems of the human resources training and development in X Group Corporation, the thesis aims to apply the relevant knowledge and practice on modern human resources management, combine the requirements of the development strategy conducted by the corporation on its human resources development, and finally probe into any possible countermeasure on how to effectively carry out the human resources development and training. The thesis consists of the six parts. In the preface, the introduction on the current situation and the development trend on the human resources investment and the training and development. In the first chapter, the statement on the relation between human resources of enterprises and competitive advantages is made. The importance on generating human resources in enterprises is emphasized and both similarity and difference between human resources investment and training and development is differentiated. In the second chapter, the introduction is given to theories on human resources investment from the three aspects: the development of the theories, the expatiation of the theories and the analysis of costs and benefits. In the third chapter, emulating the successful enterprises' experience, a set of scientific and practical procedure is created. This chapter constitutes the practical part of the human resources investment and the training and development. In the fourth chapter, the relevant cases are analyzed. By the means of theory and practice, the judgment is made to X Group Corporation and the amending measures are put forward. The last chapter is the conclusion.
