"pipe" Management Ethics And Its Modern Transformation

With the development of administrant practice, the management ethics has become the important part of the reason of market economy. However, as an interdisciplinary study, its development in China entails not only the theoretical support of ethics and management, but also the positive examination, and what's more, demands the modern transformation of China's traditional theory. Here, Guan Tzu is one of the cultural heritages of China from which we can draw lessons.With the joint efforts of the regional culture of Qi State and Jixia a-cademy, the management ethics of Guan Tzu, which came into being in the Spring and Autumn Period, formed the academic character of pluralism, integration and unification. Besides, it also set up its academic system , which characterized by co ~ existence of utilitarianism and humanism, rule both with inculcation and institution, advocacy of fairies and efficiency, consideration both public interest and private interest. Concretely speaking, the management ethics of Guan Tzu is the theory of u-tilitarian humanism. Its merit precondition is the humanity of self - interest and its basic value is taking man as tool; its controlling method is ruling both with moral and institution; its ensure measure is keeping the balance of interest; its ultimate object is economic mileage. Starting from this content, under the Marxist basic principle's guidance, basing on the affirmation of the modern value of the management ethics of Guan Tzu, combining domestic and foreign management ethics and management practice, we can enlarge the mentality meaning of Guan Tzu. And then we may form the modern management ethics. Its merit precondition is the humanity hypothesis of combining self - interest and inter -interest; its basic value is the management measures is the ethic management of combining culture and institution; its management indemnification is the balance of interest of combining fairness and efficiency; its ultimate object is the model of combining economic mileage and social mileage.By researching into the management ethics of Guan Tzu and making a series of modem transformations of it, the thesis is just trying to rebuild the management ethics of Guan Tzu with the character of combining utilitarianism and humanism into the new socialistic management ethics with the character of combining utilitarian and contribution. And then we may provide some useful references for our great socialistic management practice.
