Quality Management System For Software Companies Design

The rapid development of Chinese software industry brings about the revolution from workshop to normalization in domestic software enterprises and requires establishing an effective quality management system.Starting from the analysis of the trends of software industry, the characteristics of software products and the benefits of quality certification, the paper presents a systematized quality management model with learning and evolution mechanism to resolve the common issues of quality management, it also makes use of knowledge management to promote the continual process improvement. The quality system is easy to implement and it has been applied into practice and brought good effect.This thesis is divided into four parts to analyze and expatiate the construction of quality management system:* Analyze the urgency, necessity and general requirement of establishing quality management system;* Refer to ISO9000&CMM, indicate the objective and essentials of building a quality management system basing on the state of Chinese software industry;* Design a framework of quality management system suitable for software companies, consist of the organization hierarchy, the document system, the mechanism of process improvement via knowledge management and the software supporting system, focus on its learning and evolution mechanism.* Explain how to establish a quality management system in a small software organization through a real case and explore the benefit after implementation.From the research and practice, it can be concluded that a systematical quality management system with continual improvement via knowledgemanagement can improve the quality work and accelerate the business in software companies.
