Abstract/Summary:
Along with the further reform on China economic system going on, especially after China joining the WTO and entering the contest worldwide, the domestic hotel industry is facing more and more opportunities, as well as challenges. Most domestic hotels, comparative with the oversea competitors, don't have much strength, mainly because of the deficiency in enterprise size and management efficiency. So to improve the service and management efficiency, to be bigger and stronger is almost the same route for most hotels to survive the competition. To be a multi-industry enterprise is a good choice, although it is not the only way.Presently, China higher education has experienced great development, and will keep on fast expending in years, and this stimulated the campus logistics service demand. The National Education Committee of China started to socialize the campus logistics service and to welcome all sorts of companies and organizations to take part in the competition. The growing campus logistics market (CLM) and the open policy provided pretty good opportunities for the hotels that are eager to be bigger and stronger and to be a multi-industry enterprise as well.This paper is to study CLM detailedly, to analyze the necessary and feasibility, as well as the difficulties to enter the CLM, and to discuss the strategy and tactics on how to enter CLM.
