The topic in this thesis is about designing of a stimulative mechanism for hotel industry. Hotel industry is a typical labor-intensive sector and the deployment and use of human resources is of great significance. However, hotel industry has also frequent personnel flow and a relatively high resign rate. Thus, the implementation of an effective stimulative mechanism has a profound realistic meaning in retaining talents, especially those crucial employees.Dalian Liangyun Hotel is a four-star joint-venture hotel. Its hotel management is among the top ones in the trade. Anyhow, the market competition in hotel industry is white hot. How to obtain greater economic benefit and outperform in the fierce competition? The answer is to strengthen management on human resources and design new stimulative mechanism based on staff requirement.Based on a thorough analysis of overall demand on human resources, staff requirement is understood. A questionnaire is designed and distributed among 262 formally-employed staff. Based on the statistics from the questionnaire, we are clear about the demand of whole staff, management employees and F&B staff and understand staff requirements and its importance. A stimulative training system is designed as required to establish employee professional career development system. The backbone employees are stimulated through design and implementation of above stimulative mechanism.
