With the development of the Knowledge Economy, the Knowledge based Enterprises have become the heart of economic continuous growth and value' creation. The modern enterprises' existence and development depend on the knowledge and technology's innovation and application more than before. Hereby, Human Resources act as the decisive factor.In the new environment, the job itself is also changing greatly to become more complex and dependent on each other in the process. Knowledge work has become the most important part of all categories of works.Consequently, knowledge workers are in great demand, which has strengthened the competition for talents between enterprises in the market. As the most valuable part of human resources, knowledge workers have shown multi-faceted characteristics in the process of enterprises development: Their motivation and needs are very different from the others. Through Anderson Consulting Company's employees satisfaction survey, their resignation analysis, and the study results of SGI global survey about employee needs, I have tried to conclude what knowledge workers are and what they actually expect.Based on the above, I believe that traditional motivationmanagement methods and its philosophy are still suitable for knowledge workers at this time. According to the knowledge workers special characteristics, the enterprises must establish new and effective working support system and motivation management system to attract and retain knowledge workers. The enterprises should try their best to provide the knowledge workers with better working environment so as to fully benefit from the insights and contributions of knowledge workers.From the perspective of human resources management, I have discussed here and tried to find the motivation management system for knowledge workers, which focus on 1) innovation strategy of organization, 2) knowledge work system and 3) human resources management system.I wish my study would be helpful and useful in this field.
