Beijing's Power Generation Equipment Manufacturing Industry, Environmental Analysis And Development Studies

The industry of power generation equipment manufacture (IPGEM) is one of the basic industries in national economy and holds the balance in the development of national economy. The IPGEM of our country since the founding of the P.R.C has experienced the course of starting from scratch and steady growing,and has achieved outstanding achievements and become the focus of world attention. The IPGEM in Beijing,from the year 1958 up to now,depend themselves,innovate the technology by themselves,actively co-operate and co-fund with foreign companies,and have developed to be one of four production bases to manufacture power generation equipment in China. At present,effected by the micro-environment and the characteristics of the industry itself,the IPGEM in Beijing,like the industry in other areas in China,is facing an opportunity brought about by the new potential market in the new millennium,and at the same time,has encountered the difficulty of lacking orders which is a result of the current state of the buyer's market in the power generation sector and consequently the threat of profit decrease. Therefore taking the IPGEM in Beijing as the main body,making systematic analysis on its external environment and internal conditions and putting forward the general development strategy for this industry,will bear an important and realistic significance for both the economic construction and the development of the whole IPGEM in China.Firstly this article briefly analyses the general state the IPGEM in Beijing is in. Then it introduces the industry's size,structure and things of the composed enterprises' basic state. In the following it recalls the development history and thus comes out with an initial conclusion:continuously developing equipment for power station of high capacity is an experience of success for the IPGEM in Beijing,predicting the development direction in the future to be developing large power generation equipment,that is 60MW units.In order to study the development for an industry,it is necessary to make systematic analysis on its external macro-environment. Firstly,the article introduces the state of the IPGEM worldwide and points out the gap between the level of the IPGEM worldwide and that of our country by comparing the capacity of the installed units,power generated amount,electricity supplied and coal consumption level. At the same time,it introduces the development trend of the IPGEM in the main developed countries. After a brief review on development history of the IPGEM in our country,it makes detailed elaboration on the overall development level of the IPGEM in China in the aspects of the fossil-fired power generation equipment,hydrogen equipment and nuclear equipment. On one hand,from the point of the development history,the IPGEM in our country has been making rapid progress for 50 years and has experienced the course of starting from scratch and steady growing. At present,the total number of the installed units has jumped to rank the second in the world and thus we can say that its development speed is unprecedented and has become the focus of world attention. The industry's technological level has also been great improved and product variety greatly enriched. On the other hand,there is still gap between the IPGEM in China and that worldwide in the aspect of current overall technological level. The article emphasizes the systematical comparison in terms of installed unit capacity,power generated amount,unit structure,product variety,product parameter of the same class unit and technical application in the modern industry and etc. By means of analyzing the competition pattern in the IPGEM market,the article orientates the IPGEM in Beijing in the market.
