New thought and new method are created almost every ten years in the field of marketing. The prime impetus is consumer's behavior, which is changing eternally and affected by society and market environment. One of the most distinct impacts is the development of computer and communication.It is the network-based information era in the 21st century. Networking, informatization and digitizing are promoting the development of the World Economy and Human in the whole. The network-based information technology has been the key factor and accelerator of economy development. The network-based information era gives the new commercial environment to the enterprise. On the one hand, the external environment has changed. On the other hand, the enterprise pile a great lot of data in the long term of development, which make the enterprise "data deluged crisis". The traditional technology can't digest and settle these data, and there is no way to make these data a kind of market weapon and enterprise fortune. There is no good way to guarantee high quality and competitive products to the consumer's changing demand. In such a case, the enterprise should take corresponding measures if they want to get competitive market advantage and remain invincible.This paper introduces three new decision support technologies, data warehouse, online analysis processing and data mining, which were arisen in the midterm of 1990s in the foreign country. The paper makes the data warehouse the enterprise information resource platform with two powerful analysis tools, and applies them to the marketing field. The paper builds the new marketing decision support system in the network economy era, whichprovides the decision support while developing markets and consumers. It is practicable and worth popularizing in application.
