The Decision Support System Of General Material Plant Of ChongGang Company

General Material Plant(GMP) of ChongGang corporation is the manufacture enterprise mainly engaged in unshaped refractory material series production. In the recent years, thousands of funds has been invested to build up many production lines. The equipment level is at the top in the same trade of southwest of China. The plant can manufacture more than 50.000 tons unshaped refractory materials needed by steel allied corporation every year and the yearly sales income is more than 50 million yuan. With the extension of the business and the enlargement of the scale of the enterprise, it becomes necessary to master the operation information in time, to analyze them quickly in order to scientifically make correct decision. The rapid development of the computer net, the wide application of the data base technology and the maturating of the application of ERP,MIS.MRP II ,DSS make it possible to establish a set of Decision Support System(DSS) in GMP.After investigating and analyzing the managing system of domestic corporation and ChongGang group, the technology of database, encrypted software and computer network have been adequately used to design and develop the management decision supporting system of GMP based on internet. Its main content is as below:①)after the writer investigating and analyzing the mature management information system of many enterprises, this thesis had studied out the designing idea about the management information system of GMP and confirmed the construction scheme from top to bottom, that is, started from decision supporting system.②combining with the factual condition of GMP, this thesis used the technology of database and network to ascertain the decision model gist of leadership of GMP. Its category includes: building and predicting of relationship between market supplying and requiring, confirming of the economic limit to the production organizing, economic appraising of item investing, dynamic supervising of production cost, construction of data-base and network and so on.③the ORACLE data management system and the SCO UNIX operation system has been used to assure that system has the high ability of data operation, stability, safety and I/O throughput.④designing and developing of this system is based on Windows operation system.⑤the technology of PC ANYWHERE has been used to carry out the function of software long-distance maintenance and service.
