Prediction And Thinking Of Cross-strait Political Negotiations Of The New Century

In the local "presidential" election of Taiwan in 2000 , Chen shuibian and the Democratic Progressive Party whose political objection is to strive for "Taiwan Independence" prevailed over the Kuomintang and came into power . The abrupt change of Taiwan's political situation suddenly makes the cross-strait relations much more complex, in the mean time , which will add new obstruction to the political negotiation in the two sides of Taiwan Strait too .In fact whether the political negotiation can be started up or not is as important as whether China can unite with peace or not ,and that point is to be penetrated in my paper .The thesis launches to know the Taiwan issues at present from the unique view of point, the purpose of which begins from the little special research and the work in the field of Taiwan issues in the past,intends to analyze the differences about negotiation between the history and reality of the two sides ,and tried to reveal the chief difficulty of negotiation at present.The emphasis of my paper is to predict reasonably the developing current of the tomorrow political negotiation by using the theory of modern political negotiation ,and next ,to analyze systematically the internal and international factors,the trend of peaceful reunion or armed reunion of China , to think the measures should be taken in the negotiation , and at last the paper show the desire of the realization of our country's reunification career as early as it can !The thesis consists of 3 parts .In the first part : It inspects stressly the effect caused by the abrupt change of Taiwan's political situation during the specific historical period in the early new century , and then estimates the trend the political negotiation between the two sides according to retrospecting the efforts which have been paid out by the Chinese Communist Party and the Kuomintang.In the second part: It begins with the analysis of the reasons why the political negotiation had not started up in 20st century ,and points out the chief difficulty which the negotiation lies in ,and then emphasizes the part of prediction that the scientific political negotiation can or not and how to be started up by applying the theory of modern political negotiation .In the last part : I exert the reasonable reflecting on the adopted attitudes should be taken by the two sides of the cross-strait ,the measures for Taiwan and the USA. government should be taken by the Chinese government to solve the Taiwan issues on the basis of the systematic analysis of the previous two parts .
