| Using the theory of strategic management, this paper studies thecorporation strategy of China Coal Engineering Design&ConsultingGroup according to its own characters. The paper first discusses andforecasts the external environment such as macroeconomicenvironment, coal industry environment, design and consultingmarket environment, then analyze its own conditions. Based onthese assessments, the paper summarizes threats and opportunities inexternal environment, strengths and weaknesses of its ownconditions, a SWOT matrix is also built. The paper proposes theGroup's strategic developing objectives and strategic adjustingdirections, discusses objectives and methods of six strategies such asstructure adjusting, technology innovation. Meantime, it is pointedout that the Group should build its core competence on thedevelopment of clean coal technology.At last the paper discussesenvironmental conditions which are necessary in the implementationof the Group's strategy. |
