Research On Male Rights And Interests In Maternity Insurance

Around the core concept that men and women are equal and harmonious in marriage and family life, this paper investigates men’s rights in the maternity insurance in our country based on previous studies, In the introduction this paper makes a review of the literature. Then the author shows a comprehensive analysis of the research situation about men’s rights in the maternity insurance in China, and puts forward the reference method and the direction of further research. In view of the research achievements in this field are less, the author first introduces the significance in theory and the practice to study this problem. In the third part of the article, the author starts with theoretical support of men’s rights in the maternity insurance, including philosophy,sociology, ethics, law and on. The practice comes after the theory. The author summarizes the relevant provisions of the central level and the local level, and analyses the current situation and problems of the maternity insurance system in our country at present. Next the author introduces the related system of men’s rights in maternity insurance abroad. Afterwards the author talks about the feasibility of establishing this system in China, Finally the paper tells how to improve the maternity insurance system.This article embarks from the theory, based on the system. The paper does not comply with the traditional concept of "men outside, women inside ", also abandons the opinion of female’s freedom and rights only from the feminism, but hopes that through the design of the system of maternity insurance, the men and women can find the balance in procreation and family to promote family harmony.
