To Find A Balance Between The Peaceful Use Of Nuclear Energy And Nonproliferation

Iran nuclear crisis has attracted widespread interest in the world since it broke out in 2003. There were two reasons that made Iran nuclear issue generate huge interest, one was Iran's tough attitude to America, it opposed to America so diametrically as an Islamic theocratic state that people all want to know where Iran's courage and reason came from; the other was that Iran nuclear issue reflected a dilemma—ow to ensure the developing countries'right to make use of nuclear energy peacefully and avoid nuclear proliferation in the world at the same time.As for Iran, nuclear energy uses do not only mean nation's security, but a kind of dream of nation regeneration, so nuclear energy uses have touched Iran's core interests. Iran always claimed that it should enjoy peaceful utilization of atomic energy as a member country of NPT, let alone its civilian use. Although Iran claimed continuously that it never wanted to obtain nuclear weapons, the international community especially America didn't believe in Iran's words. They thought that Iran was developing nuclear weapons in practice under the banner of peaceful use. From their own side and international community's security, the great powers didn't only deny Iran's right to obtain nuclear weapons, but try to deprive its right to make use of nuclear energy peacefully. The UN has passed four sanctions about Iran under the direction of America since 2006, but the sanctions still can't change Iran's tough attitude to nuclear issue, the Iran nuclear issue reached an impasse. In fact, the Iran nuclear issue is not only an issue on nonproliferation, but also a comprehensive problem including a lot of different interests, such as great powers, religion, security and region. The article will take Iran nuclear issue as an example to analyze the interests of the parties concerned, then to find the real reasons of Iran nuclear issue.It is hoped that the article can provide a new angle of view or route for the final resolution of Iran nuclear issue, i.e. the international community should try to look for a kind of delicate balance between peaceful use and nonproliferation of nuclear energy.
