Study On The Development Of Sino-Iran Relationship In Context Of The Iran Nuclear Issue

China and Iran exchange in political, economic, and cultural of a long history. Before the founding of new China, there have intermittent contacts of the two countries. Founding of New China, Iran carried out pro-American and anti-China policy, Sino-Iran relationship has failed to breakthrough. Until to the 1960s later period, the international situation has undergone great changes, Sino-Iran relationship began to "break the ice," and established the diplomatic relationship in August 16,1971. After China reform and open policy, Sino-Iran relationship continued to develop and had experience two stages of Khomeini and Khatami, Since 2003, the Iranian nuclear issue surfaced, the development of Sino-Iran relationship will have more variables.The development of Sino-Iran relationship receives various factors impact, both national interests, geopolitics, great power, the international situation and international environment, history, religion and culture and other factors, and have different strategic objectives of external factors between China and Iran, and the difference of development methods and stages goal of the two countries, and other special factors and uncertainties. Among them, the Iranian nuclear issue will have an extremely important impact to the development of Sino-Iran relationship.In fact, with the help of the United States and other western countries, Iran began nuclear research at the 20th century,50 years. However, since 2003, Iran's nuclear program became to the nuclear "problem" that attract the world's attention. The essence of the Iranian nuclear issue is the result of long-term rival between the United States and Iran, is US-Iran relations, but it can shake the stability of the triangular relationship of China, the United States and Iran. In the long term, China should take precautions to reduce energy dependence on Iran, increasing energy import channels, even if US-Iran war, China should still focus on developing relations with the U.S.. At the same time, in case of war, China should take measures to reduce the losses to a minimum of its interests in Iran and the Middle East.
