Building Under The Vision Of A Harmonious Socialist Society, Vulnerable Groups, Social Support Research

Vulnerable Group is a prevalent social phenomenon in the development process of human history and it shows different characteristics in different social development forms and stages of development. At present China is in a period of rapid social transformation, the deepening of the reform leads to increased social stratification and social differentiation. Vulnerable group, becoming increasingly prominent, has become one of the important risk factors which affect social stability and overall reform and development. In particular, the Party proposed the governing philosophy of "building a socialist harmonious society " . Therefore, solving the problems of vulnerable groups and increasing social support for vulnerable groups is imperative and urgent. This paper discusses the basic theoretical problems and solutions of vulnerable groups in the current stage.The paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the theoretical basis and focuses on the basic theory of vulnerable groups and social support .It specifically includes the concept, compositions, characteristics, reasons of vulnerable groups and the meaning, elements, function, theoretical foundation, value basis of social support and so on; also includes the importance of social support of vulnerable groups on building a socialist harmonious society.The second part briefly describes the current situation of our country's social support of vulnerable groups, on this basis, further analysises on the issue of social support of vulnerable groups.The third part is the core and the key and difficult points of the paper, it describes the basic ideas of building the social support systems of vulnerable groups. Following the main principles, according to China's actual situation, forming three points of view on the government, non-governmental social forces and vulnerable groups themselves , it explores countermeasures on building the social support of vulnerable groups.
