"gross Shijian" Joint Polysyllabic Words

To the Chinese history, The Han Dynasty period is an important turning point from Primitive Times to the Medieval Ages. In this period, the polyphony of the monosyllabic words is the main characteristics of Chinese words in its developing. The scholars of the Han Dynasty created a lot of works, including classics exegesis in regard to the late Eastern Han Dynasty by the master of the highest achievements of Zheng Xuan, handed down works are also up. From this, we selected the representative of "Mao shi jian" as the study object, and explore the evolution and the composition laws of the Linked Polysyllabic Pords in it.This paper generally includes the following aspects:First of all, Introduction of Zheng Xuan,"Mao shi jian" and determination and measurement of the Linked Polysyllabic Pords; Secondly, explore the composition of the Linked Polysyllabic Words, analysis them from four aspects:meaning, part of speech, word order and shape, and study the laws of its composition; Thirdly, study the situation of meaning evolution about the Linked Polysyllabic Words in "Mao shi jian"; Fourthly, sum up the feature of the Linked Polysyllabic Words in "Mao shi jian" and the times'Characteristics of the Joint-type Polysyllabic words.
