Social history is comparatively new in the development of historical discipline between sociology and history. With the development of the research of social history and the expansion of interdisciplinary cross-deepening, social history and cultural history are becoming more and more increasingly closed Education ,as part of the UK From the perspective of education this essay explores the common custom education of the UK between the 16thand the 18th centuries to reveal the conversion of the 16th-18th century common custom education of the UK as well as its influence .This essay is divided in to five parts.Introduction: This part discusses its purpose, significance and research status and defines its concepts involved, and points out the perspective of this essay.Part One: This part explores the development of the common custom education in the UK. Firstly it tells something about the social background of the medieval UK, and then with the common custom education in the 16th-18th.Part Two :This part makes conclusion of the 16-18century British aristocratic Education :the modes ,the contents, the purposes of aristocratic education ,preparing forPart three .On the basis of the discussion above makes a comparable conclusion of the conversion of the 16-18century British aristocratic education: the conversion of educational facilities changing from the family (nobles)to public school(socialization); the conversion of the teachers which is changed from professional teachers to non-professional ones; the conversion of educational contents which are changed from mainly military and moral education to mainly cultural knowledge and religious education ;the conversion of the educational purposes which are changed from character education ,elite education to Cleveland–based gentleman elite education .Part Three: This part describes the 16-18 century British aristocracy and the reasons for aristocratic educational .The reasons for conversion are mainly due to the development of economy, the formation of the concepts of modern state, the influence of the Reformation of religion and"Renaissance". In the end, movement and the change of the public perceptions make an analysis of its influence on the British aristocracy .First, it consolidates the dominance of the aristocratic class, and secondly, it improves the level of cultural knowledge of the aristocracy, and finally, it strengthens the cohesion among the aristocracy.
