"theme" Of Interior Design Course Teaching And Research

This paper indicates that talent is an important factor to improve the overall national strength by describing the economic development of China and the development status of interior design industry. And education plays an important role for talent development. School of Design, Nanjing Arts Institute, as a place of talent development, sets up the comprehensive course ---"Theme"interior design for interior design majors, in line with the talent development goals and in response to the call for New Curriculum Reform.In research for the teaching of this course, we try to provide brand-new teaching idea and methods for interior design --- to break through the traditional teaching mode and establish the creative modern teaching method, that is, student-oriented and principal of active learning; teacher-dominant and principle of guidance. In addition, with aid of other some meaningful themes, help the students to master relevant theoretical knowledge, design flow, learning methods and rules; widen the students'mode of thinking and help them to develop divergent thinking; improve the students'capability and explore the potential for sustainable development.
