| As part of the supervision system in China, supervision by public opinion plays an important part in establishing the Communist Party of China and improving democracy with Chinese characteristics. The search for the disciplines of supervision by public opinion in the initial historical period of the People's Republic of China may enlarge the theory of supervision by public opinion. It may also improve supervision by public opinion activities at present.On the basis of journalism and the study of supervision by public opinion activity of the Communist Party of China in the initial historical period (1949.10-1957.6) of the People's Republic of China, the article aims at seeking for the experience and insufficiency of supervision by public opinion activity in the initial historical period of the People's Republic of China, offering enlightenment for the current supervision by public opinion in our country and pushing the development of socialism.The introductory mainly distinguishes the supervision by public opinion of China from that of Western countries. The conclusion that supervision by public opinion activity in the initial historical period of the People's Republic of China is the suggestion from public under control of the Communist Party of China which aims at constructing democracy systems in China and motivating the development of socialism.The main text consists of three parts.
