The period of Xi Han Dynasty, the social culture dynamically developed, and cultural transition and integration were keeping. On this occasion, Liu Xiang and Liu Xin were being GuangLuDaFu. In the emperor's command, they were responsible for sorting a collection of country. This was the first time in China history, governmental, purposeful, organized, large-scale order book activity. Liu father and son as the event's chief planner and responsible person, totally ordered 624 schools,13,532 books. Both scale and number was history of the most. In the process of finishing a book, Liu father and son combined their academic knowledge and academic conservation, checked and fixed a lot of books at that time unknown, to the ancient history of the occurrence and development of academic retained valuable information. Liu father and son also made the prelude to philology, literature classification system established, framework of Philology established, ways and means to order books provided, to lay a solid foundation for the independent development of the Classical philology.
