Confucius's thoughts affect the whole world as well as Chinese culture with two thousand years of history. As the world's recognized educator and thinker, Confucius is ranked by UNESCO as No.1 of "World top ten celebrities." Confucius and Confucianism, having affected the entire development and direction of China's culture, are increasingly valued by contemporary people domestic and abroad. Therefore, research on Confucius and his thoughts are of great significance.Since the founding of PRC, experts and scholars domestic and abroad had done profound and extensive studies on Confucian Aesthetics from different perspectives and philosophical foundations. Li Zehou's "human-centered" pragmatic aesthetics, Xu Fuguan's "music-centered" perfect aesthetics and Ye Lang's "True Spirit" based Daoist aesthetics are among the significant achievements. The study of Confucian Aesthetics from cultural personality aesthetic approach is a new research method, which can highlight the specific historical conditions of the personal charisma in the study of Confucius. The main body of the thesis consists of three parts, Confucius and Hui's cheerfulness-Confucius's charisma from the perspective of intellectual subject, Ritual ideas-Confucius's charisma from the perspective of moral subject and Historic mission-Confucius's charisma from the perspective of political subject. It analyzes Confucius's aesthetics from cultural background, Confucius's personal experience and his cultural personality aesthetic. With examples based on his ideas of "unity of beauty and goodness", "fusion of reason and compassion" and "harmony between human beings and society", the thesis illustrates the impact of Confucius's cultural personality aesthetics on the development of later aesthetics.
