Ming And Qing Zhejiang Shan Chi Dynasty

Orography is a kind of local gazetteer, it has a long history. Ming and Qing dynasty has lots of orographies in Zhejiang, but there are not many scholars study in them. So it is very significant to do research on them.The paper is based on the Ming and Qing dynasty orography which is on hand. The orographies which were included from the "Chinese Landscape Series·Orography' and "Si Ku Quan Shu Cun Mu series" is the center of the historical resources. Also it combines other historical data. The paper mainly research on the history of the orography,the method of the compiling, the value of orography.The first part of the paper is to find the history of the Ming an Qing dynasty orography development, and analyse the orography styles. There are four styles. The second part is to do research on the compile system and method. The third part is to select outstanding orographies,and to do research on them, in order to study the benefits. The last part is to introduce the value of these orographies.
