Metaphor is a common phenomenon which can be used at any moment. Lakoff and Johnson redefined metaphor in their study in 1980, and raised an important concept—conceptual metaphor. It has aroused widespread concern in the public, many of whom are language and cultural scholars. From the perspective of language and culture, conceptual metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also a special cultural phenomenon for the close relationship between language and culture. LOVE is an important component of the emotional life of human, which is usually conveyed by the measure of metaphor.
