Rational Reconstruction And The Return Of Life

Husserl is a German famous philosopher. He is the founder of phenomenology. A major change in his old age is he was very interested in social behavior problems after 1920s. He deeply realized modernization process initiated in the modern Enlightenment has been plunged into crisis in his period. In order to save crisis of European science and cultural, Husserl not only analysis of the causes of the crisis led to European culture but also give a possibility program to save the crisis. That is the"Life-World"theory in his later years and made the great impact of modern western philosophy. This theory has become a central issue of phenomenology and also is the final destination in late thoughts of Husserl. It opens up the new observation of the world view for Phenomenological study, and had a profound impact of western philosophy movement in 20th century.In this paper, the author for a more in depth study about"Life-World"theory. The article is divided into five parts. The introduction starting from the Husserl and Phenomenology leads to the"Life-World"concept. Part 1, starting from the Nietzsche's book—Twilight of the Idols, more detailed analysis of western philosophical tradition about"Life-World". Part 2, pointed out the background of Husserl proposed"Life-World", including how and why this concept is proposed. The"Life-World"concept is more complex. It is a difficult point of this article, this Article summarized from six reasons. Part 3, is the focus of the text, pointed out what is the"Life-World"from Husserl proposed. And it described the basic content of"Life-World"by"Everyday Life-World"and"Original Life-World". It also thoroughly clarified the relationship among the"Science World","Everyday Life-World"and"Original Life-World". Part 4, it analyzed tremendous impact to Western Philosophy in 20th century and our country from"Life-World"theory. Especially give an influence to Heidegger, Schutz, Scheler and Habermas. Part 5, is the conclusion of the full text, talk about the methodology of"Life-World".
