Poets express their feelings, emotions, experience and wakefulness of heart and soul by means of poetry, and dedicate to the world the dual value of aesthetics and reflection, the very core of which in the poetic language lies in both "poetry" and "thinking", including the limited and unlimited domain that the "poetry" and "thinking" touch.Hai Zi integrates "poetry" and "thinking" into his works. That declares his spiritual power and orientation, which has necessary connection to his personality, growing experience, gift, living experience and reading accumulation, and it is also influenced by times. His poetry has intellect, passion and sense of mission, but otherwise inevitably exposes his weakness, depression and fickleness. Poetic radiance representing the Sun God' spirit lets Hai Zi concern the beauty of all things, just like illusionary beauty; Meanwhile the idealistic ability representing the spirit of Bacchus makes him quite familiar with tragic nature of the world, and he sees emptiness and meaninglessness through illusion.He's resolved to use his "poetry" and "thinking" to shape his own fate. In the process of creation, he's explored a peculiar way on his own, and formed his unique style and imago system. All these achievements have established a strong position in Chinese Contemporary Poetry. Hai Zi represents the poetic, sensitive and fragile soul in each heart of us. For his dream, one idealist, regardless of the current of time and fashion of society, thought he could have been detached from this world and times by his noble quality, but the way to real great realm for human beings is full of sufferings, and on this way he didn't uphold for a long time.Paper is based on the poems, diaries and comments in the book Hai Zi Complete Poems, and the study into Hai Zi, from three aspects--his choices, duty and fatalism I have analyzed and elaborated his happiness and sadness caused by his "poetry" and "thinking", and then have studied the relation between poetry and realistic life. Through the conversation between poetry and the poet's soul, understanding the unique life of Hai Zi and his contribution of poetry and life of suffering.
