| The poetess of Kong family in Qing dynasty plays a special role in Chinese ancient literature. Those poetesses, numbered as thirty or forty, produces about thirty literary works, including more than a thousand pieces of poems as recorded. The represented poets are Yan Xiaolai, Kong Lizhen, Kong Luhua, Kong Suying, Kong Chuanlian, Kong Guangfen, Kong Xianying, Kong Shucheng, Kong Xiangshu, Ye Canying, Ye Junjie, Zhu Yu, etcs. Those poets are very conspicuous in Qing dynasty literature with the large number of them and their rich poems. As a whole, poetesses of Kong family in Qing dynasty has several features, such as borning from literate family, or being daughters of celebrities, wives of gifted men, mothers of talented persons. What's more, most of them are widows, and are from some certain areas. So we can conclude that, the emergence of this group of poetesses, is closely related with the contemporary developed economy, the rich culture and the enlightenment of democratic ideas in some areas of China, also is related with their family support and male writers' guidance.Based on a few previous studies and some original literature documents, by exploring the researches on female writers in Qing dynasty and their works, this paper summarizes the general situation and characteristics of poetess of Kong family in Qing dynasty as a whole, then makes a macro research and case analysis. In particular, by deeply studying the documents on those female poets' living condition and the prototypes of their works, by understanding the circulation of their different versions, the author, in a woman's position, angle and feeling, makes a close reading on their poems from different aspects such as subjects, content, style, etcs, thus presents those ports'vivid personalities, rich emotion and special aesthetic value in a three-dimensional way. As a result, this study, fixing an accurate and reasonable position of those poets'literature, is of important value on philology study and academic history.Overall speaking, the works of those poetesses of Kong family in Qing dynasty are mainly about their narrow feelings in narrow living surroundings. Those poems display common features of female poems, including implicit, simple and oral language, gentle style and plain, detailed subjects, such as articles and sceneries in woman's room and garden, which is lack of a certain ideology and reality, as well as a historical depth and thickness embodied in male writers' poems. However, there are still some other poetess in this group, who can leave their narrow space, make poets friends and find teachers, keep enthusiasm on poem by encouraging and communicating with each other in a hard environment and strive to describe woman's specific living style and rich feelings. By breaking through the limit of traditional subjects, these poets produce a large number of articles with muscular styles, varying as straightforward, reserved, dignified, melancholy desolate, unconstrained unruly and so many styles, some poems is high in literary cultivation, no less favorable than the Kong contemporary male writers, from which we can glimpse the other side of the lives of women in patriarchal society. |
