Based on Jung's theory, sandplay therapy has demonstrated its unique healing role in many fields. It is confirmed that sandplay therapy's active effect in autism, test anxiety, behavior problems, mental health education, attachment, borderline personality disorder, family therapy, children with disabilities, juvenile with suicide attempt, orphaned children, group psychotherapy, Post-disaster psychological assistance and counseling. Recent years, Researchers trying to integrate it with other relevant areas, also has made the good progress. But it's a new exploration to apply the sandplay to the career planning.This research attempts to investigate the possibility of the group sandplay on undergraduate's career planning, consider the sandplay is benefit to establish a good relationship, help alleviate the guidance of the impasse, encourage the visitors to express negative mood, so that the problem of undergraduates show a more in-depth, and easy to combinate with other career planning techniques.This study investigated the application of sandplay on undergraduate's career planning, by using case study and group sandplay.Through case study, the result demonstrated that the clients got good effects on exploring career skills, career interests, as well as the role of goal orientation through sandplay. Clearly, sandplay can be used as a reliable means and bridge, helping students to self-exploration and identify career goals. Group sandplay used qualitative and quantitative methods. By analyzing the group sandplay in the career planning of undergraduates in the practical application, the conclusion showed that the group sandplay is benefit to the undergraduates to understand themselves better, to build their confidences, to realize their career and increase their career-making ability. The group sandplay has the profound and effective principle to the undergraduate's career planning, its can be wildly used as a useful method. |
