| Jin Shu: The book of Jin history by Zang Rongxu --a hermit from state of Qi in Southern Dynasty lives the reclusive life and refuses to serve the government, returns the history of Jin as it is after years of devoting to collecting and writing history of Jin. The source of Jin Shu is from various ways, not only including the field trip himself but also absorbing other books on Chin history, such as Jin Shu by Wang Yin, Jin Shu of Shu Xi, Book of middle Jin history by He Fasheng even A New Account of Tales of the World written by Liu Yiqing. What's more important is that Chin Shu combines the history of Eastern Jin and western Chin and displays the complicated history of two periods as it is, thus improving the level of composing history of Chin dynasty. Historians always thinks highly of the value of Jin Shu but the value of Jin Shu by Zang Rongxu decreasing after the appearance of Jin Shu by Tang Xiu. With effect of series of wars, it dies away. But according to the edition of Jin Shu in Qing Dynasty ,it has a highly value in reinforcing lack of, correcting the errors and supplies and proves the mutual content of Jin Shu edited in Tang dynasty. Therefore it is indispensable and necessary data for us to research the history of Jin and should take its place in the history of Chinese Historical Science.First. This paper sort out the the life and achievements of Zang Rongxu and the process and background of writing the book even the research and spread of it. Just as presented previously, the book make use of various materials absorbing other books on Chin history, such as Jin Shu by Wang Yin, Jin Shu of Shu Xi, Book of middle Jin history by He Fasheng even A New Account of Tales of the World written by Liu Yiqing which is of highly reliability.Second:The highlight of the paper is exploring value of the historical data. Compare and analysis the content of Jin Shu by Zang Rongxu from the old edition and Jin Shu by Tangxiu and find out the place of people ,time and case in the corresponding place of Jin Shu by Taang Xiu;at the same time after scanning corresponding content in the The History of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou and History as a Mirror and classifying the differences, summarize the value of historical data as the following four points:1 .It can reinforce lack, and supply for its specific recording.2.It can correct the errors of Jin Shu by Tang Xiu, for which is full of errors in time ,name and reality.3.It can prove the mutual content of Jin Shu edited by Tang Xiu. From the comparison of two books, it can be made a conclusion that it is clear of the different view of historical science.4.It can help come up with new problems .we can find some doubts and not confirm in the recording time and reality after comparing and analysis the it.In a conclusion, it is convenient for Zang to research and visit the history of Jin for his age is close to western and eastern Jin, adding to his absence from current affairs, he has a little effect on writing the history of Jin. Though it has been lost for many years, it leaves us a deep depression for its rich content, simple style and highly value of historical data. |
