The Power, Leave Room For The Recognition

High self-determination of humankind has represented in modernity,as well as the crisis in self-identity.While being got down by secularity and market,people are converted to religion for bailment.As a matter of fact,religious leaders have never lost their position in modern society.Our attention is not focused on the theological nature of religion,but on the conditions and effects of religious leaders as a sort of social component.The appearance of leaders is a very long and complex process combined with psychology,society and politics.What we should do is,to raise the research of religious leaders from some anecdotic depictions and general praises,put it directly into the structure of political behavior and social evolution,and answer three questions—what,why and how. After a short history review of the origin and change in religious leaders,the main body of this text will use the dichotomy between structural factors and behavioral factors:the structuralism emphasizes the system influence,that was the organizational resources supporting religious leaders in this text;behavioralism pays more attention to the inner factors,just like the birth,experience,image,personality and other individual characters,which cause the identity effect in a higher level.As a conclusion, this text wants to find the socialized mode of religious leaders,on the base of that,we will discuss their influence space in modern society as well as the relationship between religion and politics.By revealing the character of religious leaders' group as well as demonstrating the space that power has left behind for identity,we hope to get rid of the passion in power,deepen the cognition in modernity and enlighten the value-rebuilding in China.
