Moving Grid

It can be said that the real idea of modern design is to explore the essence of design with scientific thinking and logical reasoning and to grasp the meaning of design through the clear thought and the regular order. But free writing of logo design is making an attempt to break the dividing line and going in opposite directions. However, based on the analysis of free writing, we found that the ideological roots of free writing is not isolated. And its foothold is not absolutely freedom just as we used to imagine it. It was influenced by the rational Grid thinking, but react in some distinctive way. And then, the interaction between two sides is unfolded before us.Free writing of logo design never exists in isolation. It is specified by Grid thinking through its life even as implied transfiguration. It's a necessary attempt to apply Grid thinking to design even in some implicit way. Grid thinking can improve creativity and provide another perspective to look at the free writing of logo design. So the research has put these in order and drawn out the corresponding application of free writing and Grid thinking, which can help to the following design, education and research work.
