| Ma Yi-fu is one of the important representative of new Confucianism in the 20th century. He proposed the proposition of"six classices contain all academics"in the 30's of the 20th century,attempted to revive the Confucian culture,saved people's moral and mind by education,and attempted to practice for it.To grasp his educational thinking and educational practice in a overall sense,this paper describes the following aspects:The first part introduces the process of Ma's thinking changes from his family and the time background. The family accident made Ma Yi-fu confused to the traditional thought which he had accepted from his childhood,in puzzled and reconsideration he studied in the West and began to accept western thinking. After repatriating, although he had lived in seclusion for 30 years, the turbulent time made him gradually recongnize the negative value of western thinking,he started to seek outlet for China from the traditional culture,thus he returned to the Confucianism.The second part mainly introduces Ma's Confucianism educational thought.In the teaching of Zhejiang University and Fuxing (renaturation,夿€§) College,he proposed complete educational thought:"renaturation"is his teaching objective,"six classices"is his content of teaching. He paid great attention to student's body and mind training in the teaching process. In order to realize the teaching ideal,he teached students in accordance with their aptitudes.The third part focuses on his practice of Confucian education. In order to achieve the teaching ideal,he founded the Fuxing (renaturation ) College.The article describes in detail the course of the school's college,sources of funding, teaching methods and college regulations,and make certain appraisals and the resonsideration to its process.Finally,the conclusion elaborates Ma's practice spirit in the process of realizing the ideal,this practice spirit provides a meaningful reference to inheritage and carrying forward traditional culture today. |
