The modern media mainly represented by modern newspapers, periodicals and publishers not only constitutes the field of modern Chinese literature, but also directly involved in the modern transformation of Chinese literature. It is the social and media context in which the earlier stage of the Creation Agency enters the stage, and relying on the Creation Quarterly and Creation Weekly, the Creation Agency succeeded to achieve the emergent rising. This paper introduces the cultural capital theory raised by French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, and tries to make a new view into relationship between with the Creation Agency and modern media. Around the answers to why the creation of agency to choose to use modern media to achieve emergent rising, as well as how to make use of modern media to achieve it, and in which way the modern media shows its influence on the Creation Agency , the article is divided into four parts:The first part, after the introduction of cultural capital theory, discusses how modern media become cultural capital and its importance, and then through the study the difficulties and opportunity the Creation Agency faces in modern media context, the article clarify the possibility and consistency in the course of the Creation Agency achieving the emergent rising and changing their status in modern media context.The second part focuses on how the Creation Agency makes the accumulation and conversion of the cultural capital happen. First of all, the article discuss how the Creation Agency accumulate cultural capital via Xue Deng before owning their modern media and how these cultural capital converse in publisher of Tai Dong. It is this conversion which leads to the co-operation between the Creation Agency and the publisher of Tai Dong. This section will also emphasize the great significance of the Creation Collection.The third part focuses on the Creation Agency's operation strategies for their modern media to achieve their emergent rising.The fourth part focuses on the modern media's impacts on the Creation Agency.
