Zhang Jingsheng Aesthetic Thought

Zhang Jing-sheng, was a thinker being ignored by most researchers on the history of Chinese modern aesthetics. His thought has made a profound contribution to the propagation of France aesthetic theory in China,to the Enlightenment thought. More importantly, he used some important category frome Chinese and Western history of aesthetics for reference, and he showed a valuable try to consciously construct up an aesthetic thought system in its pursuit of the aesthetic ideal. The main purpose of this paper is to study Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetics contributions to the the development of Chinese aesthetics history and his contributions to our studying of the current aesthetics hot issues.This article is divided into four parts. The preface mainly introduces the value of Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetics idea research, the current research situation and the innovation of this article.The first part:the formation of Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetic thought. This section is divided into two levels. First of all, combining the life experiences of Zhang Jing-sheng, the article analyzed the formation, development and change process of his aesthetic thought, with emphasis on revealing the formation causes. The article proceed to have summed up unprocessed aesthetic ideology of Zhang Jing-sheng's frame, focusing on the aesthetics of his thought in some main points.The second part: Zhang Jing-sheng's contributions to the development of Chinese modern aesthetics. This part is the main body of the article, including four main points for discussion. Firstly, the awakening of the aesthetical life. Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetics idea , from the standpoint of life, established the emotional status and tried to construct up an ideal society, which was consistent with the idea of the Enlightenment topic; On the other hand,his " the aesthetic outlook on life" was distinctly different at that time from the dominant "scientific outlook on life", which has an important aesthetic significance for us to make a new awareness of the May 4th Enlightenment Movement. Secondly, the constructions of aesthetic category system.Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetics idea not only embodied out rational mode of speech, but also showed the characters of structure and system. With the textbook-style approach ,he creatively made use of the categories of Western aesthetics, as well as traditional Chinese aesthetics, and put them into his own aesthetic system. Thirdly, the aesthetic education and"the aesthetic sex education". Zhang Jing-sheng was a thinker with particular emphasis on the idea of aesthetic education in the history of Chinese modern aesthetics. He emphasized appreciation of the importence of aesthetics in common life and changes in society, and consciously tried to realize his aesthetic views, which reflected the pursuit of life-oriented and the practice character of modern Chinese aesthetic thought. This article focuses on"the aesthetic sex education". This idea of him had a strong background of Western culture and the historical background, and, more importantly, Zhang Jing-sheng, by it, had greatly deepened the "people's liberation" of May 4th, still today,it also has great value. Fourthly,"Supreme Realm of beauty"and the aesthetic ideal. Zhang Jing-sheng is both a " Pan-aestheticism "with an aesthetic idealists. He understanded the world with "Pan-aesthetic" perspective ,and publicized saving function of aesthetic. In addition, he expected us to realize his"Supreme Realm of beauty"by the aesthetic methods. There was no doubt that his aesthetic ideal was full of aesthetic trend and deeply utopian nature. However, there is certenly a lot of constructive, creative points of view.The third part: The enlightenment and reflecting frome Zhang Jing-sheng's aesthetics thought. This section mainly discusses the theoretical contributions from Zhang Jing-sheng,his academic character ,and the significance of the academic trend represented by him for the development of our current aesthetic.
