On "peace" Of Ethical Thinking

"Taiping Scripture"is the early classic of Taoism which embraces rich ethics morality thoughts. Moral education is the mainline through the whole book of"Taiping Scripture". Large amount of discussing in this book were developed from the subject of exhorting others to be good and guarding him against evil. To achieve this purpose, the author strengthen the penetration of moral education by using the mentality characteristic that appeared in the people's fears of God and begging for good fortune. When speaking of ethics in"Taiping Scripture", most researchers discussed it from the peasant moral. This dissertation explored the complete ethics in"Taiping Scripture". The ethics in"Taiping Scripture"has some theology characteristics. Setting the premise complying with longevity may caused,"Taiping Scripture"spreaded the"regeneration","enjoy the life","avaricios of longevity", and have showed positive attitudes towards human being's physiology need. From the induced theory of universe and human integral whole,"Taiping Scripture"hold the view of evil retribution , good and evil transmigration and saving the poors, working by oneself which reflected people's will, proved the loyalty and filial duty in Confucian School."Taiping Scripture"has also explained the way to being good, and explored the rational thought of continuously contributing kindness. Consequently, nowadays, studying ethics thought in"Taiping Scripture"has guiding significance to structuring harmonious society.
