Japanese Society, From The Heisei Era Of Media Buzzwords

Language just like a mirror,We can see the historical changes and the life changes from our language,especially the popular words.Since the 1980s,The Japanese scholars have researched into the popular words,and it is becoming very popular.However,most of the studies are about rhetorical Features and word formation.This paper is just starting from the semantic aspect to analyze the Japanese popular words.It aims to explore the social value of the popular words and the Japanese social and psychological characteristics.Since most popular words spread through a variety of media,so this article will set the popular words of the media in the Heisei period for the study.The text is divided into four parts,including the popular words about women,the popular words about the young,the popular words about psychological healing and the popular words about politics.(1) As the increase of the women who go out for a job in Heisei period,the Japanese women's social status also gradually improved,and the feminist movement had never stopped. At the same time,with the improvement of the women's rights,the relationship between husband and wife in Japan got changed.The relationship between the young couples changed economic interdependence into the spirit of interdependence.On the other hand,after the retirement the relationship between elderly couple slowly changed.The dominated husband began to rely on his wife and the wife was looking for fun in the family outside.(2) Accompanied by the collapse of the bubble economy,the economic depression appeared in the Heisei period.In addition,a variety of reasons such as the indifferent interpersonal relationships that made most of the popular words were related to money worship,hedonism, egoism.(3) As the increasing of material wealth in Japan,the social competition goes fiercely,that caused the increasing of the whacked people.There followed the popular words about psychological healing.Then,people begin to pay more attention to the psychological healing.(4) Finally,from the aspect of the political popular words,we can know that Japan which is a economic big power is politically dependent on the United States in international politics. And in the other aspect,we can also realize that the corruption structure in Japan by way of analyzing the popular words.All of that result in the universal doubt about the politics and politician,so resulting in a non-partisan election in the House of Representatives votes to push.
