In the piano music creation in his lifetime, only Op.10, Op.76, Op.116, Op.117, Op.118 and Op.119 use the "Intermezzo" However, in terms of time, these creative works, ran through the Brahms'career life. Op.117 is the most famous one in all his Intermezzo. It is also a piece of music which is always played in piano solo concert. This article will research into the performance style, ways of touching keys and the acoustics of it. Through the comparison of the Intermezzo in three periods, I will also make an intensive study of his Intermezzo, especially the late period one.
