Enuch groups are an important class of Northern Song Dynasty.They played an important role that can not be ignored on the stage of history.The Eunuch came main from two sources,one is to retain Five Dynasty and Houzhou regim and other separatist regime's imperial eunuch,the other is to add the number of imperial eunuch through appointing their sons.Among the two,the latter had become the most important way.Eunuch groups of Northern Song Dynasty's distribution of the native place also showed such characteristics.Besides a small number of early Song Dynasty eunuch who were from the southern region,most of them were from the ruling center area .Their salary was not high ,but they often sought wealth through illegal ways.Although eunuch groups were unable to have children ,they also adopted son and got married.At that time,a number of eunuch formed families.During the Northern Song Dynasty,eunuch didn't cause serious authoritarian political chaos,but they participated widely in military,political,economic and other activities and played an important role.Northern Song Dynasty eunuch extensively intervened in politics because the emperor trusted them and the bureauracy colluded with them .At the same time,they also were inhibited by the emperor and bureaucratic when their power had grown. In short,the Northern Song Dynasty eunuch were not able to dictatorship.
