Comparing Eileen Zhang with Bai xianyong has beginning for a long time. The two writers from the background to the work style have very strongly indeed comparable, so there is too much necessary to contrast them.This thesis attempts to explore Zhang and Bai's spiritual world behind the text and literature , and the succession of literature , under their the most famous collection of short stories. Researching with fictions and writers 'selves, I want to restore their common experience materials which influence on their writing, and also find the difference or similarity between Zhang and Bai.The first chapter compares Zhang to Bai about the background. The second chapter, compares based on the text, including the Writing in Shanghai, writing in the position of women, as well as the writers' latent text, to find out their differences among similarities. The final chapter is based on the thought tendency of the two connotations. Zhang and Bai's fictions are all concerned for the humanity, settled in goodwill.
