Beijing Hui Language And Cultural Identity

China's Hui Minority is in the Diasporas all over the country and is the most widely distributed national and also the highest urbanization in the minority . Hui language and culture is particularly worth of our attention in modern society especially the rapid development of international metropolis in Beijing. In this paper ,we make a comprehensive and in-depth investigation to the language and culture of Muslim in Beijing suburbs by using the method of filed survey . With cultural linguistics anthropology ethnology method we make a comprehensive and objective description and analysis for Beijing Hui recognition for the language and culture.The full text is divided into six parts .The first part is introduction which including the meaning reason and innovation, the theoretical framework data source, methods and dynamic of choosing the top. The first chapter id Beijing Hui that is divided into three partisans introduced the basic situation in Tong Zhou district, Beijing Hui village and the basic investigation outland. The second chapter is a total of three parts investigating the language recognition in Yujiawu village. The author statistics the data of the language recognition with excel and analyze the language recognition from the usage of the language. The nature of language ,the attitude and the cause of the language recognition .The third part is a special investigation of cultural identity in Yujiawu village, making up of four parts From marriage customer maintain ,religious belief and interethnic relations and other aspects to analyze Beijing Hui culture recognition .The fourth chapter is language and culture identity in Beijing in the process of urbanization . It analyze the overview of the culture identity the cause of the situation and the trend . The last part is a conclusion.The fact of investigation indicates that we make a higher language recognition to Beijing Hui and puts a positive attitude to the language of people . The author hope that the national language can be developed from generation to generation and form the Beijing characteristics in the course of development . At the same time Beijing Hui has a higher identity degrees. They can maintain their own national traditions and characteristics in the catering Muslim, ethic festivals wedding and funerals . In particular ,Beijing Hui has profound national feelings and special feeling son the nation's language and culture . Beijing Hui has a positive language and culture value . But in the modern metropolis, multi-culture blend of the times, Beijing Hui language and culture has a certain weakened trend. But this doesn't means that Muslim language and culture will gradually decline .That is an inevitable trend of the traditional culture in modern society . Meanwhile that is a charge of culture and an adaptation of modern society debugging. At the same time the Muslim identity and the national feelings of Beijing Hui shows the trend of asymmetry. Although, the awareness of their religion language and cultural identity weaken . The national feelings of heart is very deep. This multi-national sentiment in the modern metropolis is perhaps national survival and development foundation.
