This article clarifies the status of "Beijing Matters" in the history of early Chinese textbooks by reviewing and combing the development of the history of early Chinese textbooks in the world.The thesis focuses on the analysis of the compilation background,textbook types and compilation style of "Beijing Things",and starts with the arrangement of the most typical topics and cultural factors shown in "Beijing Things",and conducts research on it.In terms of topics,the most prominent feature in "Beijing Matters" is the topic of folklore topics.This article collects and sorts out various folklore topics involved in "Beijing Matters" and summarizes the main characteristics of the arrangement of "Beijing Matters" in folklore topics.: First of all,"Beijing Things" is rich and diverse in the selection of folklore topics,and its content includes various aspects of folklore such as life and production,social system,social organization,language,etc.;secondly,folklore topics are obviously biased,mainly based on language,folklore and business folklore Mainly.The proportion of language and folklore reflects the attention of the editors of "Beijing Things" to the uniqueness of Chinese;the proportion of business and folklore reflects the social state of China’s small peasant economy at that time.In terms of cultural layout,this article selects several representative cultural teaching contents in "Beijing Things" to conduct research,and summarizes the noteworthy characteristics of "Beijing Things" in the cultural content layout: First,the corpus is authentic and rigorous.It can reflect the modernization trend of Beijing in the late Qing Dynasty;second,it is close to the people’s lives,bringing cultural content into specific situations,so that learners can resonate more;third,combining cultural content and language content ingeniously,both cultural And practicality;fourth,the value orientation is positive.Finally,this article explores the overall value of Chinese textbooks from the Meiji period in Japan in the history of international Chinese education,and compares "Beijing Matters" with "Language Collection" and "Guide to Mandarin Chinese" which had a significant influence in Japan during the Meiji period.Its progressiveness and scientificity point out its unique historical position in the history of early Chinese textbook compilation. |
