new way to enjoy the beauty and essence of it,thus,contribute a lot in analyzing and studing of the literature works.So,it's meaningful to compare the similarity and difference of this two viecles of expression.Movie and literature are two kinds of different mediums,as well as two groups of different arts,while adaption is the best way to connect them.And in this paper I try to find the the different ways of narrative,the dissimilarity of character and image, the influence of comercial factors toword the theme of movies,as well as the personal style of director via analyzing his adaption parts:introduction,text and closing part.It briefly narrates the significance of the novel-to-film adaption.The text consist of four parts:The first part:novel to film:art forms,the variention of the form convertion and aesthetic needs.It mainly discussed the impact of the commercial capital and the discrepancy of the two difference forms as well as its aesthetic charming and popularity.Literature riched the source of movie while movie made literatue widely known.It is just through the movie,many people begin get familiar with Shen Congwen,thus a hits toward him begins.There are two different dipicting devices from film and novel.Literature indrectly express the idiology and notion through literal,describes the sutle feeling and complicated state of mind,while the dipicting expressing is direct,that is to emphasize the theme through various devices including scene,cameral,dialogue,sound and rhythm.Reader's comprenhend varies due to the different devices and the cause is also made from the novel.The third part is about analyzing the characters of novels and movies.In the novels,many classic persons were dipicted,and among them,the rustic young ladies of Xiang'xi were most striking.They were pure and innocence,no zigzag plot and violent conflict as in other novels.In contrast,they live in a family with much love but not abundant wealth,which folsted their own human nature.The author adopted the reserved style of writing to express the image of these young ladies in varies aspects,more concentrate in their attitude toword love and life,which is honest, enthusiastic and serious.The aspiration and calling of resist of "modern civilization" and the praising of beautiful heart and nature were fully expressed in his novel.The fourth part is about part three focus on the diferent style of film adapted of novels,Lingzifeng beatifed the bitter station of the original novel which gives a new color.This creation is totally differ from his traditional favor—delicate,lyrical, fresh style instead of a wild,powerful one which give the readers a fresh feeling.Xie Fei "Xiang Nv Xiaoxiao," describes the tragic fate of a women of whom he gave deep affections in his works.On the one hand,the film present the life of Xiaoxiao in a lyrical tone;and in the other hand,the film conveyed a suffocating atmosphere of feudal culture in the dark,depressed,Lengjun colors,and to strengthen the constant comparison in the collision.While "Huang Shu-qin showed a unique artistic thinking in the film "Cunjii" which strengthed the integrity of the female image of all the rebellion of all-Chinese feudal culture on the screen including Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,to gain the socal status of women.The content of the closing part is to reorganize the effect of adapting by analyzing its gain and loss.The aspect needs to be overcome is,on the one hand,the adaptions not overcome but stress some out-of-dated featues;on the other hand, they decrease the taste and thought of original novels,just to cater to the common taste,that is,vulgar the work.Analyzing the adaption works can help us to overcome the problems faced in adapting
