Zha Laga Hu Novel Study

Zhalagahu, Mongolian writer, has enlivened in the contemporary literary arena in China since stepping onto the literary path until now. On the basis of former people's researches on Zhalagahu's novels, the thesis elaborates the unique national characteristics, the local customs, the language phenomenon, and then explores the regional culture characteristics and the mode of thinking through analyzing his novels' themes, cultural tradition, artistic styles, characterizations and so on. The thesis is composed of the preface, the text(three chapters) and the conclusion, the narrator tries to discuss Zhalagahu's novels from the aspects of ethnology, sociology and psychology.In the first chapter, mainly elaborate the creation background of Zhalagahu's novels and the influence of Mongolian folk literature on his novels. Using comparative literature's influence research method, analyze the relation between the Mongolian folk literature and Zhalagahu's novels from the aspects of themes, ideological content, characterizations and rhetorical methods. In the second chapter, mainly discuss the themes and the topics of Zhalagahu's novels. The themes of his novels are roughly divided into three types and analyzed individually. The topics of his novels are as follows: sing the new people and new things, concern for the destiny of Mongolian nationality and eulogize the solidarity of Mongolian and Han nationalities. In the third chapter, mainly discuss the artistic styles of Zhalagahu's novels from the aspects of the national styles, the local characteristics and the linguistic peculiarities. Zhalagahu's novels written by different periods show distinctive national styles and local characteristics. The language of his novels is terse and succinct because of the influence of the Mongolian folk literature. In the conclusion, make a brief summary to Zhalagahu's creation career for more than fifty years according to the former people's research and the narrator's more understanding in the process of finishing the thesis. In short, Zhalagahu has been concerned by the literary world with his novels' themes, topics as well as the unique artistic characteristics and expression means.
